“Gentle hands, healing energy—reiki awakens your body's innate wisdom to restore balance and peace.”
What is Reiki?
Reiki is an ancient healing technique that transmutes energy through the gentle laying of hands on specific positions, either on or above the body. This technique is a wonderful way to:
-Increase relaxation
-Relieve stress
-Improve sleep
-Balance the body’s chakras
-Cleanse the aura
-Clear meridian blockages
-Stimulate the immune system
-Enhance natural healing within the body
We understand that everybody is on their own unique healing journey, which is why we start each healing session with a chat about what is happening in your life. Our approach involves a blend of Usui, Seichim, and Karuna Reiki, complemented by the use of crystals, essential oils and karma healing (where appropriate) to assist people with their emotional issues, physical pains, and spiritual healing.

What happens during a Reiki session?
During a session, you’ll lie fully clothed on a treatment table while the practitioner places their hands lightly on or just above different areas of your body. You might feel warmth, tingling, coolness, or simply deep relaxation. Some people see colours or images, while others may have emotional releases or insights.
What should I wear to a Reiki session?
Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing is recommended. You’ll remain fully clothed during the session. Please avoid heavy perfumes or colognes as some clients may be sensitive.
How many sessions will I need?
This varies by individual and depends on your specific goals. Some people experience significant benefits from just one session, while others prefer regular treatments as part of their wellness routine. After your first session, we can discuss a recommended treatment plan based on your needs.
How will I feel after a Reiki session?
Most people feel deeply relaxed after a session. You might experience improved mood, clearer thinking, better sleep, and a sense of well-being. Some people feel energised while others feel a need to rest. Occasionally, you might experience a temporary healing reaction as your body releases toxins or emotions.
After your session, drink plenty of water to help flush released toxins from your system and schedule at least 30 minutes of quiet time for integration. This combination of hydration and rest allows your body to process the energetic shifts that occurred and maximises the benefits of your treatment. Listen to what your body needs – some clients benefit from gentle walks in nature, journaling their experience, or taking a warm bath with Epsom salts.
In addition to hydration and rest, you might find it helpful to:
-Eat light, nutritious foods
-Pay attention to your dreams that night, as they may contain important messages
-Listen to your body and honour what it’s asking for, whether that’s rest, movement, or specific foods
